One invitation to speak in 2013 turned into four classes, then a name, then more than a hundred venues across the country. Here's how the Workshop got here — and who's behind it.
I was invited to speak at the congregation I now work for in 2013. I wrote four 45-minute classes on "internet safety," which later became known as "Active Digital Parenting," and which I revamped into the Digital Parenting Workshop in 2019.
Since its inception, I've presented the Workshop in some form or another at over 100 different venues — churches mostly, but also businesses and schools. It's taken me to California, Ohio, North Carolina, and tons of places in my home state of Tennessee.

Chad is the Education Minister for the Graymere Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee, where he has served since 2015. His wife Bonnie is a preschool teacher and mother to three boys: Jacob, David, and Micah.
